This statement was written on 2 November 2020.
Status of compatibility with the requirements for barrier-free information technology
The website www.nrwglobalbusiness.com currently not completely compatible with the technical requirements stipulated by the Barrier-Free Information Technology Regulation of North Rhine-Westphalia.
In November 2020, the website was tested using the tool https://accessibilityinsights.io/. Digital accessibility was between 95% and 97% depending on the page type. The barriers identified have different causes in the area of programming and design.
Non-accessible content is to be improved as part of a relaunch of the website planned for the middle of 2021.
Regrettably, there are currently still accessibility issues in the following areas:
- The website can only be operated with a keyboard to a limited extent
- Forms are not fully accessible to edit
- The main stage content on the home page is not fully accessible
- The heading structure of some pages is not accessible
- Links, forms, icons and iFrames are not correctly labeled in all cases
- Images are not correctly marked up in some cases or alt texts are missing
- For audiovisual media, media alternatives are missing in some cases
