Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, a trade fair abroad can be an excellent springboard for exports.
Here you can gain a vivid impression of the country and people, sound out the new target market, present your products and services to a broad audience and establish initial business contacts. But participation in a foreign trade fair is expensive and complicated to organize; even if it is 'only' in a neighboring country.
The state of NRW supports small and medium-sized enterprises from NRW as part of its foreign trade promotion with a broad-based trade fair program - coordinated by NRW.Global Business.
At the state's joint company stands, exhibitors present their services and products directly in the target markets at favorable conditions. An ideal stand position as well as the professional booth design by experienced architects and stand builders ensure a good long-range effect and the attention of visitors. The service includes, among other things, a turnkey booth with all stand technology, cross-company advertising activities, the collective transport of exhibits and the supporting program of the event. A qualified NRW state consultant is also available as stand manager at the joint company stands.
A distinction is made between stands where only North Rhine-Westphalian companies exhibit (NRW Joint Company Stands) and German federal stands in which NRW is involved (Info Service Centers). The NRW joint company stands are funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitalization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. The Info Service Centers are funded as part of the federal participation of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi).
