Gizil is a provider of engineering, construction and digitalization services for industrial plants. The young Turkish company, which opened its first foreign branch in Düsseldorf in 2022, continues on its successful path, having already won several awards. After receiving the NRW.Global Business Award in 2023, Gizil has now won Gold in the "Digital Solution" category at the prestigious Global Tank Storage Awards 2024 for its Virtual Plant solution.
Gizil is a pioneer in industrial digitalization and has made a name for itself with its specially developed Virtual Plant solution, which uses digital twins in an industrial environment. The cloud-based software product enables companies to access the digital image of their plant – without the need for powerful computers or special equipment. This means that the digital twin can be monitored, analyzed and controlled at any time and from any location. This gives companies a detailed insight into their systems and enables them to optimize maintenance work, for example.
These successes strengthen Gizil's position as a potential "unicorn" in NRW. The selection by Scale-up.NRW and the company's participation in the German Accelerator Kickstart program underline not only the increasing importance of digitalization, but also the innovation potential for NRW.
