The US American office space provider We Company (operating until recently under the name WeWork), headquartered in New York, is investing in Cologne.
From September 2019, We Company, the globally active service provider for coworking spaces, will also be represented in North Rhine-Westphalia. The US company is moving into a new office building on Friesenplatz in Cologne, where flexible desks will be offered to almost 2,000 future members of the WeWork community platform. A second location in Cologne's Wallarkaden will follow at the end of 2020.

With central office spaces, well-conceived design, numerous business services and a creative entrepreneurial community, We Company wants to help large companies, creatives and start-ups to settle in the cathedral city, work together productively and connect with each other. Apart from shared as well as private workplaces the members are also offered a multiplicity of alternating events for networking, knowledge exchange and recovering on an almost daily basis – such as language courses, lunch & learn sessions or yoga courses.
We Company is already present in Germany with ten locations and around 12,000 WeWork members.
