In the UK, TeamSport is one of the top addresses for indoor kart tracks and mini golf. Now the company has opened its first event hall in Europe. TeamSport invested two million euros in a 500-meter, multi-story, state-of-the-art indoor kart track in Mönchengladbach. What makes it special is that the karts are powered by electric motors. But it's not just fans of squealing tires who will get their money's worth. The event location also includes a full-fledged indoor mini-golf course as well as a bar and restaurant area.
The facility was officially opened at the end of February. Legendary German Formula 1 presenter Kai Ebel hosted the event, and Mönchengladbach’s Mayor Felix Heinrichs was also present. Dominic Gaynor, CEO of TeamSport and Putt Club Crazy Golf, said at the time: "We are delighted to be opening our first facility in Europe in our 30th anniversary year. Offering customers first-class and memorable experiences in state-of-the-art indoor facilities is what makes us distinctive and one of the most sought-after names in indoor karting. I am excited that we are now bringing the best in e-karting to Germany."
The company boss is not afraid of new restrictions due to the Corona pandemic. Gaynor is pleased "that despite all the challenges posed by the pandemic, we have now been able to put into practice the expansion into Germany that we have been planning and preparing for many years."
