Logistics center will be the largest of its kind in Germany in the portfolio of P3.
Strategically located near the region's key freeways, a project of superlatives is being developed: P3's Kamen Logistics Park in Kamen is to comprise 30,749 square meters of floor space and will thus become the largest German facility in the company's portfolio. While companies are already active in the first section of the logistics park, construction work on the second, even larger hall complex is running in parallel. This is scheduled to be ready for occupancy at the end of 2021.
The project in Kamen is part of a Europe-wide strategy, as Sönke Kewitz, CEO of P3 Germany, explains: "Our major goal is a portfolio of high-quality logistics properties at strategically important logistics locations. This is exactly what we are realizing in Germany and all over Europe, down to the smallest detail, together with our customers, local authorities and local partners. We are particularly looking forward to continuing the constructive cooperation in Kamen, because we see how our logistics properties support the structural change in the Ruhr area."
Tenants at P3 Park Kamen include Arvato SCM Solutions, a leading international provider of order-to-cash solutions for end-customer-oriented industries, and the growing beverage delivery start-up flaschenpost.
