The manufacturer of cutting systems is investing 2.5 million euros in the expansion of its site in Dorsten.

With a building complex consisting of office space and a demonstration center, MicroStep wants to upgrade its location in Dorsten. The Slovakian company has been present in North Rhine-Westphalia for twelve years – first in Essen, then in Dorsten for seven years. From here, Sales and Service take care of the business in the north: "In Dorsten, we welcome interested parties, customers and specialist dealers almost daily, who inform themselves about the latest solutions from our company," reports Matthias Hutzler, head of the branch. It is precisely these technologies that customers will be able to experience in the future on 800 square meters in the Dorsten demonstration center.

"The new building is our response to the unchecked demand for our technologies. Over the years, Dorsten has proven to be a strategically very favorably placed location. Positive developments in the personnel situation as well as the great interest in our high-tech solutions made this step necessary," says Johannes Ried, Managing Director of MicroStep Europa. In addition to the demonstration center, the company is expanding the location with office space, training and meeting rooms. The total investment amounts to 2.5 million euros, and completion of construction is already scheduled for 2021.

MicroStep develops and produces cutting systems of all kinds – from plasma and laser to water jet systems. The technologies are used in small workshops as well as in the automotive and aviation industries.
