After record sales growth in 2018, Stepstone plans to hire more people this year than ever before.
The online job platform Stepstone continues to expand rapidly. In Germany alone, the company plans to create over 300 new jobs by the end of the year. Most of them are to be set up at the head office in the state capital. The company only moved to a new building in the port at the end of 2017 in order to have more space, made necessary by rapid growth.
The focus is on sales employees and IT experts, Stepstone CEO Sebastian Dettmers announced recently. "But we will also grow strongly in all other areas of the company," he said. One of the focal areas is artificial intelligence. According to Dettmers, more than 100 experts are already working on this topic at Stepstone today.
