Phoenix Contact shows how it works: Only recently, the company from North Rhine-Westphalia sealed a global cooperation agreement with M.A.C. System Solutions at the Hannover Messe. The first step is the joint worldwide distribution of products based on cloud solutions and the associated system and measurement technology. The aim of the cooperation is to bundle expertise.
A total of 451 companies from NRW were represented at this year's Hannover Messe, the world's most important industrial trade fair. Among them were numerous foreign companies based in NRW, such as the mechanical engineering company Parker Hannifin from the USA and NGC from China. The Japanese company TMD Friction from Leverkusen also presented its portfolio at the fair. The company is the world market leader in original equipment for the automotive and brake industries.
As an industrial state, NRW is predestined to help shape the future of industrial production. And it is precisely here that NRW is in the process of catching up – from uniform mass production to flexible production processes and the smart factory. NRW offers companies from Germany and abroad great market potential with strong industrial structures and a broad-based ICT sector.
