The Hamburg-based specialist for logistics and corporate real estate is implementing a new major project in NRW.
"The shortage of space in the greater Leverkusen area has created high demand," says Jan Dietrich Hempel, CEO of GARBE Industrial Real Estate. The Hamburg-based real estate company is developing a new 22,600-square-meter building in an industrial park east of Leverkusen.
A large part of the building has already been leased to the Edelmann Group, a packaging manufacturer from Heidenheim. "In addition to production, the space will be expanded by a prospective hall area of approximately 8,500 m², which will be available for another tenant from the 4th quarter of 2021," reports Adrian Zellner, Head of Business Development at GARBE. The production and commercial property will already be completed in December, with investment amounting to 27 million euros.
The new project in Burscheid near Leverkusen is one of around 164 properties that GARBE currently manages. The company develops, buys, leases, manages and finances commercial real estate in attractive transport and industrial locations.
