NRW is becoming increasingly diverse as an automotive location. With VinFast, a new marque is settling which for the time being is focusing exclusively on all-electric SUVs. The Vietnamese company has chosen NRW as one of its first foreign markets for its expansion. The first store already opened in Cologne at the end of 2022. Now the second location is being added in Oberhausen in a central location directly adjacent to the Centro shopping center.

VinFast was founded in 2017 in Hải Phòng, Vietnam. In 2018, the company drew attention at the Paris Motor Show, and in 2021 it presented its first electric vehicles. Now the young marque is expanding internationally. A total of 50 stores are planned in Europe, including 25 in Germany. There are already stores in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main. More are also to be built in France and the Netherlands.

The VF8 and VF9 models from the luxury segment will initially be available at the new Oberhausen dealership. Pre-orders for the smaller VF6 and VF7 models will also be possible shortly. The dealership is also the first in Germany to serve all three of the automaker's divisions: Sales, Support and Service.
