The organizers of SLUSH describe the event themselves as "the most startup-oriented event in the world". In recent years, the trade fair has developed into one of the most important industry meeting points for innovative minds from the technology sector. For the last event, around 12,000 visitors, 4,600 founders and 2,600 investors came to Helsinki. This year, NRW.Global Business is offering representatives of young companies from NRW the opportunity to present their business ideas at the startup and tech fair and to network extensively.
A total of ten tickets are available for the event on November 30 and December 1, 2023. These include not only admission to the trade fair, but also participation in an attractive supporting program: Startup representatives can represent their company at the German Pitching Stage and other side events. The Finnish Chamber of Foreign Trade will support them directly on site. In addition, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) offers delegation visits and matchmaking.
Applications are open to companies with a tech focus whose headquarters are in NRW and which were founded on or after January 1, 2018. The application deadline is August 15, 2023. Further information and the application form can be found here.
