The Chinese telecommunications giant expresses its solidarity with North Rhine-Westphalia.
All over Germany, companies are showing solidarity in the face of the corona crisis in the form of relief efforts. The fact that many foreign companies are also actively involved is particularly noticeable in the high-investment state North Rhine-Westphalia. One of many examples is the Chinese telecommunications provider ZTE, which has been represented in NRW by ZTE Deutschland GmbH since 2005. By donating 10,000 FFP2 respirator masks, which have supplied to the Ministry of Health of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the network operator wants to support the state in this crisis situation: "We feel a special bond with the state of NRW and now want to give something back in these challenging times," says Jie Sun, Managing Director at ZTE Deutschland GmbH.

As an economic development agency, NRW.INVEST has also been in contact with ZTE for a long time and is delighted by the company's commitment: "ZTE has been involved in NRW for many years and is one of the largest Chinese investors here. It's a great feeling and a good sign that you can rely on your partners in times of crisis and that mutual support is a priority for everyone," emphasizes NRW.INVEST CEO Petra Wassner.
