Turkish glassware manufacturer opens showroom in NRW

Paşabahçe, one of the world's largest manufacturers of glassware, is relocating its German headquarters to Düsseldorf and presenting its collections here at its own exhibition.

NRW.INVEST assisted the Turkish company in locating its German headquarters in NRW. From Düsseldorf, the glassware manufacturer wants to use its new showroom to appeal to a broad public and continue to conquer the European market.

The approximately 300 square meter exhibition area acts as a central hub for customers from Central and Northern Europe. Paşabahçe will be exhibiting both machine- and hand-made glassware for the retail and catering sectors with a special presentation design that blends the furniture visually with the product lines. At the opening of the showroom, the company welcomed not only its most important European business partners and customers, but also the Turkish Consul General Şule Gürel and Petra Wassner of NRW.INVEST.

With its extensive distribution network, a product range of more than 20,000 articles and high production capacities, the long-established business is the third largest company in the world in the glass industry and the second largest in Europe. The company manufactures its products mainly in Turkey and at production sites in Bulgaria and Russia. Today, Paşabahçe employs about 6,000 people and exports its glassware to 140 countries.
