Turkish company to build new location in Bochum

AYBEY ELEKTRONIK, the Turkish production and development company in the elevator control electronics sector, is investing almost two million euros in a new location in Bochum. 20 jobs will be created here.

It is the first location of AYBEY ELEKTRONIK in Germany. Its primary purpose is to serve the European market. "We consciously chose the Bochum location to develop new products here and to orient ourselves even better to the Western European market," says Managing Director Ibrahim Melih Aybey.

Before the construction of the new warehouse and production hall with administration building in Bochum's Hiltrop industrial estate, the Bochum Economic Development Agency assisted the company in settling in Germany and purchasing the land in the north of Bochum. The contact between investor and economic development agency was established by NRW.INVEST and Business Metropole Ruhr GmbH (BMR) .

"I am very pleased that Aybey Elektronik has chosen North Rhine-Westphalia. This is proof of the attractiveness of our location," explains Petra Wassner, CEO of NRW.INVEST. "North Rhine-Westphalia is the top address for Turkish investors in Germany." Last year alone, 46 Turkish companies settled in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The German company AYBEY ELEKTRONIK GmbH was founded in 2016 and develops and produces control electronics and control panels for elevators. The Turkish parent company AYBEY ELEKTRONIK A.S. has been in existence for over 25 years.
