Verisure now operates a distribution and control center for digital security systems in Ratingen.

Verisure Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of the Swiss Securitas Direct Verisure Gruppe, opened a distribution and control center for digital security systems in Ratingen at the end of 2018 with the support of NRW.INVEST. At present, Verisure already employs more than 70 people there, and the number of jobs is expected to grow to around 200 by the end of 2019.

The settlement strengthens NRW as a digital location. "Digital transformation not only creates new perspectives for companies, but also offers great opportunities and convenience for a smart society. Our goal is to place digitalization processes at the service of citizens at all levels and at all times. Flexible smart home applications that make our everyday lives a little safer and simpler are certainly among them," says NRW Economic and Digital Affairs Minister Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart.

Verisure covers the entire value chain – from the preparation of individual safety reports to the development of individual alarm components and the monitoring of systems. In NRW, the company has optimal conditions for further growth. "With its strong industrial and service landscape, NRW offers a broad sales market and numerous cooperation partners for new developments, particularly in the field of digitalization," emphasizes Petra Wassner, CEO of NRW.INVEST.

The Securitas Direct Verisure Group was established 30 years ago and now employs more than 16,000 people worldwide. The company operates 15 emergency call and service control centers throughout Europe and South America and serves more than three million customers.
