The US manufacturer of wheelchairs is opening its first German location in Hövelhof.
Pride Mobility has already been selling its products on the German market for 20 years, now the US company is opening its first location here: In Hövelhof in North Rhine-Westphalia, the wheelchair manufacturer is starting out with twelve employees on an area of 16,000 square meters. In addition to office and storage space, the site also includes an exhibition and training room as well as a repair workshop.
The company wants to use its innovations to help people with limited mobility to achieve greater independence and is also geared to the older population: "There are 83.1 million people in Germany and over 17.5 million of them are 65 years or older," says Daniel Buck, Managing Director of the new subsidiary. "The goal of Pride Germany is to make the company the largest and most successful wholesaler in Germany and to make the Pride Mobility and Quantum brands even better known. With our experienced team we will achieve this."
Pride Mobility was founded in Pennsylvania in 1986 and is now one of the major players in the global wheelchair market.
