Company trips to Chile or Scotland on the subject of hydrogen, participation in trade fairs such as "The Battery Show" in Detroit or "Arab Health in Dubai" or to Japan, Ireland or the USA with the "Messe meets Mittelstand" funding program – the projects for the Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion 2023 program are varied. The offer is aimed at companies from NRW that want to expand internationally. Together with the partners of NRW Foreign Trade, NRW.Global Business supports companies in opening up new markets worldwide – in more than 30 countries!

In the coming year, the company trips will have a special focus on innovative technologies for the energy transition and climate protection. For example: "Hydrogen Valleys – The future of the hydrogen value chain" (France), "Energy storage, battery, hydrogen, CCS" (Norway) or "H2 with a visit to the Fuel Cell Expo" (Japan). In addition, NRW.Global Business has established a new regional focus with Southeast Asia. In Singapore, participants can network with startups, and in Vietnam and Thailand everything revolves around the topic of greentech.

Companies from NRW can present themselves to a wide audience at the state's joint company stands at international trade fairs. In addition to classics such as the Mobile World Congress, MIPIM and JEC, new exciting events such as Ecomondo for biotech/medtech in Rimini and Slush for digital technologies in Helsinki have been added.
