The French energy specialist is expanding its presence with a new branch in Aachen.

How can we generate energy in a resource-saving way? How can buildings be optimized in terms of energy? And what technology can be used to make refrigeration systems more environmentally friendly? The energy company ENGIE concerns itself with these challenges. The technology, energy and service specialist wants to pave the way to a sustainable future – not only in Cologne but also from its new location in Aachen.

ENGIE already has an established customer base in North Rhine-Westphalia and serves more than 300 customers, including well-known industrial companies from the food, pharmaceutical and steel-processing sectors as well as hospitals and research and educational institutions.

The new Aachen branch offers ENGIE greater geographical proximity to existing customers and opens up new opportunities: "Due to the high density of companies and science, we see great potential for further growth in the Aachen region. It is a clear goal to expand our market position in North Rhine-Westphalia and to convince new customers of our products and services," says Sven Gelezas, authorized signatory and Regional Manager Region West in the Building Services Division of ENGIE Deutschland.
