The Danish logistics group DSV is building a distribution center with 56,000 square meters of hall space.

The area on which the transport and logistics company DSV intends to operate in the Port of Duisburg covers twelve hectares. The logistics specialist is building a 56,000 square meter distribution hall with 76 docking gates on the site. Completion is scheduled for summer 2021 and is expected to create some 300 jobs in contract logistics.

The planned distribution center is being built on the logport VI site, a former industrial area of the Duisburger Hafen Group, which is intended to attract logistics companies after restructuring. The 40-hectare logistics area will have its own container terminal to enable the implementation of improved transport solutions. "This investment underlines once again that we have succeeded in providing our customers with the best economic conditions as the leading logistics hub in Central Europe," states duisport's CEO Erich Staake.
