The largest Turkish fashion company opens its German headquarters and its first store in Krefeld.

The Turkish men's outfitter Kigili is launching its German business on 280 square meters from North Rhine-Westphalia. The new location in the center of Krefeld includes sales areas, a showroom as well as warehouse and office space.

Founded in 1938, the fashion company is already the market leader in Turkey and also represented in 20 other countries. Now Kigili wants to conquer the European market: "Germany is one of Turkey's most important, if not the most important trading partner, is geographically central in Europe and is among the top 3 countries in terms of imports and exports. This makes it a very interesting market for us to invest in as the leading menswear brand in Turkey," explains company boss Hilal Suerdem.

By choosing Krefeld as its headquarters, the company opted for a city with a long textile history. To this day, the velvet and silk city still plays a role in the fashion industry – location advantages from which the Turkish family-owned company also wants to profit.
