Cologne is expanding its international educational offering: Up to 680 students can be taught on the newly built campus of Cologne International School. The bilingual Vincerola kindergarten with 65 places, as well as 20 additional boarding school places, will be integrated into the 19,000 square meter site at Butzweilerhof. The children will be looked after around the clock by an educational team and supported in their learning.

Since 2007, Cologne International School has been providing holistic school education from first grade through to graduation. The state-approved institution pursues a concept of bilingual, interdisciplinary and competence-oriented learning: Pupils can choose between an international educational path in the International Secondary School and a locally oriented educational path in the Gymnasium (high/grammar school) branch.

Currently there are about 545 students attending the international campus. The new school site is scheduled to open in summer 2022.
