Audit firm KPMG to expand at Essen location

In addition to the existing branch office, the company is establishing a service center in Essen. Around 300 new jobs will be created there over the next three years.

The company is renting 3,200 square meters of office space for the new "Shared Delivery Center" near Essen's main railway station. Together with the experts from the respective specialist areas, the employees there will provide services for all of KPMG's business areas.

KPMG Director Christian Bösing, who is also in charge of the Leipzig branch office in addition to the newly established service center, explained: "Following an extensive analysis, Essen was able to assert itself over seven other potential cities in Germany." The good transport connections and the large talent pool of potential employees locally proved particularly convincing.   KPMG is one of the leading auditing and consulting firms in Germany with over 10,000 employees at more than 20 locations.
