欧州クリーン産業ディールでは、資源の効率的な活用とバリューチェーンの循環化を通じたサーキュラーエコノミーの強化が求められています。ヨーロッパ有数のビジネス及びイノベーション拠点であるドイツのノルトライン・ヴェストファーレン（NRW）州と、在独日系企業が最も多く集まるNRW州のデュッセルドルフ市は、欧州クリーン産業ディールおよび国際的な持続可能性目標に沿ったエコロジー転換の推進役となることを目指しています。

【Tokyo】North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and Düsseldorf – Central Hubs for the run-up of the Circular Economy in Europe

Europe's Clean Industrial Deal calls for the strengthening of a circular economy with more efficient use of resources and closed value chains. 
North Rhine-Westphalia, as a leading business and innovation location in Europe, and the state capital Düsseldorf, as the largest Japanese business hub in Germany, aim to become drivers of the ecological transformation in line with the European Clean Industrial Deal and the international sustainability goals. 
-　How can regional and city governments manage the transition to a circular economy?
-　How do Japanese and German companies contribute to realizing a circular economy in Germany and Japan? What are the benefits?
The seminar attempts to showcase answers to these questions.

 (An additional seminar related to Circular Economy will be held  in Osaka on Thursday 19 June with the city of Dortmund as a partner.)
