Although the technology company AuCom originated in New Zealand, the strings for its global activities are pulled in Sendenhorst, Westphalia. The company is expanding its presence here with a new customer and administration center. This is the largest single investment AuCom has made in the Münsterland region to date.
The energy-efficient building houses office space, customer areas, meeting rooms, and innovation spaces, offering a forward-thinking work environment. "With the new customer center, we are creating additional capacity and investing in the future viability and attractiveness of our company location," explains Managing Director Thomas Zirk-Gunnemann.
Founded in New Zealand in 1978, AuCom has grown from a manufacturer of high-quality audio equipment into a leading international supplier of intelligent motor control systems for conveyor belts, assembly lines, fans, ventilators, and pumps, among other applications. AuCom employs around 200 people in Sendenhorst and over 450 people at its other locations in New Zealand, the United States, Canada, South Korea, China, and the Middle East.
