The European market leader for alarm systems continues to expand and opens a new branch in Dortmund.
Verisure installs 600,000 alarm systems on average per year, protecting 3.5 million customers. The international security expert serves private households and small businesses in 16 countries – including Germany since 2018. Verisure already has 7,000 customers here, and the company is now expanding its presence with the newly opened branches in Dortmund, Berlin and Stuttgart.
Verisure sees no obstacle to further growth in the current times of crisis. According to CEO Alvaro Grande, the company gained valuable experience during the first lockdown and is now working primarily offensively and countercyclically: "That means we are moving closer together – at least virtually – working even harder than usual, investing and continuing to hire. That way, we will get through this phase together as well as possible and be more ready than ever when the economy picks up again," says Grande.
Verisure was founded in 1988 as a division of the Swedish Securitas AB. Today, the company is active in Europe and Latin America and is by its own account the world's second largest supplier of home alarm systems.
