The Taiwanese IT company is building a new European headquarters in the Münchheide Technology Park.

QNAP Systems is investing over ten million euros in the construction of its new European headquarters. The IT company from Taiwan has already been based in Willich in North Rhine-Westphalia for several years. A logistics center and warehouse with a generous green area are now to be built on around 6,000 square meters in the Münchheide IV Technology Park. The new European headquarters will be completed as early as February 2022.

QNAP's (Quality Network Appliance Provider) business revolves around data storage and the development of corresponding software and hardware. For example, the company has developed an NAS (network-attached storage) – a storage device with cloud-based network infrastructure that enables analytics through artificial intelligence and edge computing. Worldwide, QNAP Systems has 15 offices in 28 countries and employs more than 1,300 people.
